Figuring out what to wear for Spring can be hard. Especially those cooler days. You know the ones that aren’t quite hot enough for just a tee and jeans but not cold enough for a winter coat. It’s these days that I’m so happy I invested in the shacket trend. As you know I’m not a believer in the word “trend”. I like to look at pieces with a buy for life mindset because I want to make sure I won’t be wasting my money. I’m not saying I don’t buy things that are on trend but the way I look at buying pieces is that I purchase what I love that I know I will wear even after the fashion gods decide it’s no longer “on trend”. I’m happy to report the shacket has been worth every penny! I pulled together this look to wear to brunch with my girls down at Dime Store the other weekend and after getting a TON of compliments I instantly headed home to take some pics so I could share it with you! Last year I showed you 3 ways you could wear a neutral colored shacket but this is one more way you could wear it! Even though it’s a bolder piece I just knew it would inspire your next OOTD. How You Can Put Together a Chic Zebra Print Shacket Outfit
The biggest thing you need to determine is your comfort level when it comes to prints and outerwear. Usually I like to rock one statement piece as I did in this look but you might be okay with going bold. If less is more is your vibe then keep the rest of your look simple. Think white or black tops, a pair of jeans or black pants and also black or white accessories. Black will give a more timeless look while white will be edgier since it’s unexpected. On a day you’re feeling like you want to go big or go home don’t be afraid to rock zebra head to toe! If you don’t have zebra bottoms you can also mix patterns with another piece that’s black and white like houndstooth or stripes. Then add a pop of color to really pack a punch. The thing is that even if zebra print feels out of your comfort zone right now, with some practice and a bit of who gives a f*ck because I know I look good attitude, you’ll find yourself rocking it all the time!
