As the weather cools and leaves change color to greet the arrival of fall I have been craving a turtleneck sweater dress, especially since discovering the awesomeness that is Trop Rouge.  Typically I stay away from dresses in the mini variety because they usually require some fuss to keep them pulled down, since my squat game has been making my butt nice and perky these days, but I finally found one that works with my shapely bottom.  Learning what works for and against your body is one of the most important things when it comes to refining your style.  Just as important is being able to find pieces that meet your personal preferences.

As you guys can probably tell from browsing around my site, my style revolves heavily around a simple, well fitting base and using accessories to make my outfits more personal.  When most people hear the word accessories they immediately jump to jewelry.  Many quickly overlooking the power of shoes, scarves, hats and even purses, which is definitely a fashion newbie move.  One of the things I tell my clients is that a polished look is in the details.  Whether it’s a statement piece, pop of color or pattern play, all these are important elements your accessories can add to make your style unique.   Here’s another way to style a sweater dress.
