transition jumpsuit into fall 1

With the arrival of fall, many people are storing their summer clothes and restocking their closet with fall essentials, well at least I am anyways.  But just because the weather is cooler doesn’t mean you have to go hiding away all your clothes, it’s the perfect time to experiment with new combinations that allow you to get more wear out of your summer wardrobe!

Take this plunge neck jumpsuit for example.  Usually in the summer time a jumpsuit like this can be rocked it by itself or with a bandeau bralette underneath for an easy day time look.  As the temperatures drop you have to get more creative on how to transition your jumpsuit into fall.  Here are some easy ways to make your jumpsuit fall friendly:

  1. Layer.  Layering doesn’t always mean adding something over.  Instead of adding a jacket try a button up or turtleneck underneath to cut the chill while looking fashionable in your jumpsuit this fall.
  2. Choose length.  The fall is the perfect time to swap your go-to romper for a more weather appropriate jumpsuit.  To add some interest choose a jumpsuit in a culotte style or with long sleeves.
  3. Boot it.  Pair your jumpsuit with some fresh fall boots for a more fashion forward look that will help keep your legs and feet warm.

No matter how you style your jumpsuit for fall make sure that it not only fits your body, but is comfortable and works with your lifestyle as well.  When you dress with your needs in mind, like keeping warm during the cool mornings,  you will find that creating an outfit is much easier.
