As you guys know I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin.  And as you’d suspect there really weren’t a lot of fancy holiday soirees to attend.  So dressing our best for the holidays was never really a thing in our house.  In fact when you flip through our old photo albums you’ll find my family swaddled in sweats opening Christmas presents pretty much every year.  Even though growing up I never got to attend the type of holiday party that required you to dress up, I always fantasized about putting on something glamorous to ring in the season.  That’s how this red monochrome holiday outfit came to be.  The realization of the dreams from my youth to get all dressed up and attend a fancy holiday party.  Last year red was all the rage so I opted to stand out in all green but when I stumbled across this faux fur coat I knew red was the way to go this year.  And what’s a holiday look without some flair?  Que my statement extreme flair pants.  I topped the look off with the pattern of the season, and my favorite of all time, leopard print.  If you’re struggling to put together a holiday outfit this year I suggest sticking to a monochrome look.  It’s flattering on every body shape and super simple to put together because who has time to stress about what to wear when you still have Christmas presents to buy?  Keep scrolling for my monochrome outfit picks for the holidays.
