As you can probably tell I am building quite the onsie selection in my closet.  Typically I pick trendy items in neutral colors so that they can be worn year after year, which is the key to a versatile wardobe, but when I saw this orchid gem on the Tobi website I couldn’t help myself, especially because it’s 50% off your first order!  Orchid is a gorgeous color that compliments my skin tone which helps to make me look more radiant and slimmer.  The other great thing about this jumpsuit is the fabric, it’s so soft and breezy making it perfect for the hot summer days.  Some things to ask yourself when picking bold garments, like this orchid jumpsuit, for your wardrobe are:

  1. Does it work for the majority of your lifestyle?
  2. Is it the right color for your skin tone?
  3. Will it still be something you can wear next year?
  4. Can it be transitioned into other seasons?
  5. Are you able to create at least 5 outfits using clothes you already own?

One of the biggest problems women run into is that they don’t have a coherent closet, meaning they are not able to mix and match what they have easily to create a seemingly endless wardrobe.  This is because most women get caught up in seasonal trends and impulse buys without taking into account what they already own.  Most will buy something on a whim that doesn’t go with anything they have in their closet so in order for them to keep it they go out and buy more clothes to match that one item, again not accounting for clothes they already own, do you see a pattern here?  Suddenly they open their closet and wonder why they have nothing to wear.  Don’t fall victim to this cycle, be a savvy shopper to get the most bang for your buck and maximize your closet!

Comment below and tell me: Are you for or against the onsie trend?
