Let’s face it, the holiday season can be really stressful.  Not only do you have to get ahead at work before vacation and buy the perfect presents for all your loved ones, you also need the perfect outfit for all the holiday parties you’ll be attending.  Personally I love a good monochrome outfit. Don’t believe me? Check out my all red holiday look and my green holiday outfit idea. If you’re not into red or green another super flattering color that works really well for the holidays is navy.  While navy can seem very conservative and professional an easy way to transition it into the holidays is with texture. I decided to pair velvet, faux fur, fringe and suede for this look. The mixing of textures helps to give a monochrome outfit depth and creates interest.  My favorite part of a monochrome outfit is that you can pick whatever pieces make you feel the most confident and comfortable and work for the occasion. So if dresses aren’t your thing try a chic sweater + pants combo. Keep scrolling to check out my navy picks to create a killer monochrome outfit.
