jord-wood-watches-lil-miss-jb-style-asos-pants  **Thank you to JORD Wood Watches for sponsoring this post.  All opinions are my own.

If there’s one thing I’m a stickler about, it’s time.  Growing up I was part of a traveling soccer team and my coach was all about punctuality.  My mom unfortunately was not. As a result I spent many practices running extra laps because she would drop me off late.  At the time I never understood why my coach would hold me accountable for my mom’s actions.  I see now he was trying to teach me life lessons that I’ve later come to apply in my professional career.

Being on time may not always seem important, especially if you don’t have to punch a clock at work, but it is.  There’s more to punctuality than avoiding an awkward conversation with your boss about why you were late.  It’s about showing your commitment, that you’re a person who keeps their word.  More than that it’s a sign of respect.  We all know the feeling of having our time wasted, minutes or even hours gone that we will never get back.  And we also know what it feels like when you put a lot of effort into something and no one seems to care.  When you’re on time you’re telling someone that you respect them and what they do.  I mean you know what they say, time is money.

That’s why one of my favorite accessories is a watch.  There’s nothing more timeless or versatile.  I’m currently crushing on this wood watch from Jord, which how cool is it we practically share the same name.  From the unique wood from around the world to the sophisticated style, it definitely works as both a statement and everyday piece.   They’ve also been kind enough to let me extend an Instant $25 off Gift Code exclusively for you guys!  All you have to do is view their watches and let them know which is your favorite and you receive $25 off your purchase.  So please take advantage of this opportunity to check out their whole women’s wood watches collection.  Or for the special someone in your life check out their men’s watches for the perfect Christmas gift.

How do you feel about punctuality?

I am 100% with you on punctuality! I drive my husband nuts about it when we’re just doing something casual and I’m all about timelines haha
He definitely needs a JORD watch so he won’t mind checking the time!

I thought it was just me Kristin. I’m definitely the timely one out of all of my friends, it drives me insane having to wait around for them to show up or be ready. Well make sure you get the instant $25 gift card because it would be a chic, and helpful, Christmas gift for him!
