To be honest I was really hesitant about the return of the slip dress. I always thought that slip dresses for pear shaped women just didn’t exist, that it was a style only for hour glass or slender women. This coming from younger me who grew up surrounded by girls with big boobs which left me a little lacking in the self confidence department. It wasn’t until I re-watched Sex and the City last year that I decided it was time to bite the bullet and just give one a try. I mean really what was the worse thing that could happen? I know a lot of women whose bodies don’t fit the standard mold avoid certain pieces because they assume they won’t fit and dread the thought of going to the tailor. Although honestly a great tailor is something I highly recommend because it truly makes all the difference.
