This is the closest I will probably get to dressing up for the holidays. It’s not that I don’t enjoy the holidays or dislike getting into the spirit but as a kid most of my holidays were spent celebrating at home with my parents in our PJ’s. Attending fancy holiday parties just wasn’t something I did or even really do now so there has never really been much of a need for holiday pieces in my wardrobe.
I decided to give dressing for the holidays the old college try and I think I did pretty well for not owning any real holiday garments. I decided to go with my usual a glam meets rocker chic night out look by pairing some tougher pieces like my beanie, jacket and top with some feminine items such as my stole, culottes and heels. I think the fur adds a flair of glam but the jacket and beanie keep it from being too over the top.
