If you’re a frequent reader of Lil Miss JB Style then you know I am all about getting the most out your wardrobe. To me there is no garment that can’t work for any given season, the trick is to know how to transition your clothes to work with the weather. The reason I chose this denim jumpsuit was not only because of the fashion forward cut, but the fact that is was made of sturdier denim. This makes it easier to wear it in the cooler months when accessorized appropriately. When going to transition a garment like this denim jumpsuit for colder weather, I keep these things in mind:
- Layer wisely. Pick a jacket that’s suited for your activities and will cut the chill without making you suffer from over-heating, and embarrassing body B.O.
- Take advantage of head wear. If it’s especially cold, use a beanie or other winter hat to help keep your noggin warm.
- Choose weather friendly shoes. Don’t forget to wear pair of shoes that keep your toesies protected from the cold air or other elements.
- Pick the right bag for the occasion. Be sure you have a bag that works for what you plan to do, if you’re going to be running around outside, pass on the clutch and pick up a cross body bag or tote instead.
Remember the goal is to not only be warm, but to stay true to your personal style while doing so. Many women think they have to pass on looking chic when that simply isn’t the case. Start with a well chosen base that keeps the majority of your body warm and add garments as needed. Don’t forget to pick pieces that not only make you look good, but feel great too! See how else this jumpsuit can be worn on vacation.

Thanks Darcy, I’m glad you like it! ASOS has them available in a bunch of different shades and even has one with a cute collar detail.
I love it! I think you totally rocked it! If I could find one that actually falls in the right spots for me, I’d definitely give it a whirl!
Have a great week!
I know your struggle Melanie. It takes me a really long time to find a jumpsuit that works for me so patience is key. To save some time I look at where the waist line falls, that’s usually a big indicator of if it will sit right on my body.
you looks pretty !

Obsessed!!! That is such a great jumpsuit. I have actually looked at it myself. I have been on the hunt for the right wide leg jean that hits a little above the ankle. So cool!
