These days it’s all about elevated cozy looks. Those outfits that are comfortable enough to lounge around the house and can just as easily be worn to step out to run errands. You have to admit it feels great to wear something cozy but when it also happens to look good too it also boosts your confidence. How You Can Put Together a Cozy Casual Outfit
Like all outfits the most important thing to do is start with the base of your look. A base is a dress/jumpsuit or a top + bottom. The key to any killer fit is to pick what is comfortable for you. While I love a good dress the weather’s still pretty cool so I went for a sweater with ribbed pants. Next is to pick your color scheme. For minimal effort you can stick to one color head to toe with a monochrome outfit. If you decide to go this route mixing textures is a must to add interest. To really go bold try mixing colors or patterns like I did in this look. Either way you’ll be turning heads even while wearing your cozies. On the colder days you can choose to layer with a jacket. Go for a shorter jacket to show off your waist or maxi coat for a slimming effect. Last but not least don’t forget your accessories. I went with a bumbag that adds even more interest to my monochrome fit but feel free to use this as an opportunity to play with a pop of color. When it come to footwear sneakers are a more obvious choice for cozy fits, but equally comfortable sandals or booties will instantly elevate your look. Remember it’s about what you feel best in your body and boosts your confidence!
