If you’ve been following me here on Lil Miss JB Style for a while then you know I love the unexpected. Though a cozy chambray button up and tie up flats seem pretty basic I stepped up my outfit with this wrap black leather skirt. Now the summer time may not seem like the time to reach for leather, but this season it’s definitely a do. If you’re wondering how to get away with rocking leather while beating the heat, here are my tips:
- Choose faux leather. Why rock real leather when faux leather looks just as luxe? The trick is to find a faux leather piece with fun details to give it more edge.
- Think mini. Find a cropped leather jacket or pick a mini skirt to add a touch of leather without a ton of heat.
- Pair it with breathable pieces. Opt for a chiffon blouse or linen shirt dress to pair with your leather item to allow some air to circulate into your outfit.
- Go bold with the accessories. Instead of a piece of clothing, try a pair of leather booties or statement choker to give your outfit an edgy vibe.
As with anything you add to your wardrobe you want to make sure it not only works with your body and personality but with what you already own as well. I only have a crop leather jacket, it’s actually made from pig hide, it’s a bit like suede. I do love the details of this skirt! The printed bag brings so much to this outfit x

The leather is stunning and warms itself only, the images you mention all of them are looking best in it, I would like to wear a Black leather pant or skirt on a white plain top and a scarf with that bag. I can imagine, It will look awesome.
